Some people visit the Confetti Flower Fields in Wick, near Pershore, for the photographs.
Some visit for the flowers.
And then there's me... the person who can't walk through them without coming home with twenty new product ideas, a pocket full of petals, and an overwhelming urge to make something.
It's been that way since 2014.
Long before Leaf & Frosty existed, before I was pouring candles, blending oils, or handcrafting botanical products, I was simply someone who loved flowers, plants, and being outdoors. There's always been something magical about nature to me. It has a way of slowing life down, quieting the noise, and reminding us to notice the little things.
The Confetti Flower Fields, grown by the family-run business The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company, quickly became one of my favourite places to do exactly that.
Year after year, I'd find myself wandering through the blooms, completely captivated by the colours, scents, and ever-changing beauty of the fields. What started as a yearly visit soon became a tradition. And somewhere amongst the delphiniums, cornflowers, wildflowers, and petals grown for natural confetti, inspiration quietly began to take root.
The truth is, many of the ideas behind Leaf & Frosty were born there.
One of the very first products I ever created was my Lavender Spa Bath Oil, inspired by those peaceful walks through the fields. Infused with natural flowers gathered from the surrounding blooms, it was my attempt to bottle that feeling—the calm, the beauty, the deep breath you take when you're standing in a sea of flowers with nowhere else to be.
Thankfully, I stopped short of trying to bottle an entire flower field. The logistics alone would have been a nightmare.
But that little bath oil became the beginning of something much bigger.
Over the years, the inspiration continued to grow. New products followed. Botanical oils, candles, wax melts, home fragrances, seasonal collections... each one carrying a little piece of the natural world that has inspired me for so long.
Which is why being part of this year's Confetti Flower Field season feels incredibly special.
Not only because the fields have been such an important source of inspiration throughout my creative journey, but because this is now the second time Leaf & Frosty has been invited to be part of the event.
Honestly, if you had told the 2014 version of me—wandering around with flowers in her hair and ideas in her head—that one day my products would be available alongside the beautiful creations of The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company, I probably would have laughed and carried on picking petals.
Yet here we are.
This year, you'll find a collection of our handcrafted botanical creations available to purchase directly from the Event Shop, including:
🌿 Botanical Bath Oils
🌿 Face & Body Oils
🌿 Our Signature Confetti Diffuser
🌿 Hand-Poured Candles
🌿 Botanical Wax Melts
Every single product has been created with the same love of nature that first drew me to those fields over a decade ago.
To have our collections sitting amongst the flowers that inspired them feels wonderfully full circle.
What makes it even more meaningful is knowing that these fields are cared for by a family business that has spent years sharing the beauty of natural flower petals with visitors from across the country. Their passion for flowers, sustainability, and craftsmanship is something I've always admired, and it's a privilege to have Leaf & Frosty featured within this special setting once again.
So if you're visiting the Confetti Flower Fields this year, take your time. Wander a little. Admire the flowers. Take too many photos. Buy the cake. Fill your phone storage with colourful field pictures you'll never delete.
And if you happen to stop by the Event Shop, I hope you'll discover a little piece of the inspiration that has shaped my journey since 2014.
After all, every story has a beginning.
Mine just happened to start in a field full of flowers.
Until next time, may you always find beauty in the little things.
With love,
Debora
